Summer Vacation – Have A Go At Being A Real Traveler And Have An Adventure

There are things in life that we would all love to do and there are places in the world that we would love to visit but never ever seem to get round to doing any of them. For many people their idea of a two week beach holiday is exactly that, staying in a resort and either spending the day sat lounging by the pool or sat on the beach listening to the ocean slowly lapping at the shore. For other people a two week vacation is something that happens in the vicinity of a hotel, a pool or the beach and these are all parts of a holiday that add to the overall adventure that can be experienced. So if you are a relatively safe traveler but would like to experience something a little different this year what should you be looking out for that will push your boundaries of adventure just that little bit more?

Going it alone on holiday can add a real buzz to a holiday, booking the flights, accommodation and car hire yourself is all part of the adventure of the holiday, watching it all come together bit by bit when you first arrive. The two most popular options for travelers who would like to plan their own holiday are either booking accommodation in one location and using that as a hub to get around daily and visit the local area, returning back to base each evening or alternatively arranging the holiday as a sort of grand tour of the area, booking different accommodation every couple of days. Each option has benefits and pitfall’s, it is really up to you as to what you feel more comfortable doing. Many people on their first attempt at real traveling stick to the one location and make a point of traveling to different points each day, safe in the knowledge that they have their accommodation ready and waiting for them upon their return.

The more adventurous travelers who look to plan a tour of the area need to make sure that the route that they are planning is a realistic one and one that be completed without too much strain. You do not want to return from your holiday totally exhausted and needing another holiday to recover.

One of the most popular destinations for real travelers is Australia; it has every type of holiday possibly imaginable in one very large country. Everything from beach, wilderness, mountains and beautiful cities can be found in Australia. Flights to Australia are much cheaper than they used to be and can be booked with a stop-over in some amazing cities in countries such as South Africa, Hong Kong and Singapore. All of these destinations can be included as part of your holiday as they can be taken as an overnight stay.

The cost of the flights to Australia used to be the one reason that so many people could only dream of visiting the continent but in recent years the prices have come fight down and it is now possible to fly there for a fraction of the cost that it was 10 years ago. You can now fly to any number of locations in Australia such as Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Cairns which are all fantastic starting points to get out and see the country and depending what it is you are looking to do there are a million different things available to wet your appetite for real traveling.

If you are not too keen on the big cities you can make a base in one of the smaller towns on the coast such as Warrnambool. Warrnambool is very popular with real travelers as it caters for every type of holiday maker from the sight seer to the adventurer to the beach bum. So if you are looking for a safe place to start your real traveling adventure from or even a base to which you can return at the end of each day Warrnambool may well be it.

The best way to tour New York City would be using a limousine service. You get a complimentary bar and the drivers are very friendly. Also, a limo service will typically let you get out of the stretch limousine at anytime to take pictures and just view the sight.
