Rare Delights

Monday, April 2nd, 2012

Fashion is a strange beast. It’s essentially cyclical, with similar styles coming back on perhaps a twenty-year phase, albeit with slight modifications and nods to modern tastes. Even styles that were once considered consigned to the dustbin of history can make startling comebacks. Anyone living through the baggy, hippy nineties will remember how outrageously badly eighties’ fashion was perceived to be, only for a very 80s vibe to come back with a vengeance in the mid-nineties. The fact that nineties kids were dressed like their 60s and 70s parents seemed irrelevant to them. (I hope you’re following this, because I need a lie down already.)

But in amongst this slightly predictable style rhythm, there are the looks that got away. A good deal of them are fashion tastes so distasteful that they were conveniently forgotten about when their era’s revival came around. If you think I’m going to fall into the trap of naming them, think again; they may well be included in the re-revisiting or the re-re-revisiting of the look and my credibility will be shattered.

Other revival omissions are a little more mysterious, though. There are some styles that were perfectly a la mode in their day and to a great extent have stood the test of time, but which failed to make the cut second time round. There are chic classics hanging of rails in the nation’s vintage clothing stores that could successfully go back into production thanks to today’s ability to make classic cuts into contemporary looks. And if that isn’t a red rag to a bull, you should probably try naturism as a fashion choice.

Yes, the vintage fashion boutiques and their online brethren should be your first stops for those rare classics that slipped through the corporate net of fashion rebirth. If you think they only sell second hand Levi’s jeans in such places, it’s fair to assume you’ve not visited one for a little while. They are veritable treasure troves of fashion delight! Of course, you’ll have to browse through all the looks that you’re familiar with (and you might even pop a few into your basket as everyday essentials), but every now and again you’ll see something that will make you gasp with pleasure and struggle to stifle the desire to strip off and try it on there and then. You’ll just know that stepping out in that little number will make you a truly unique fashion presence almost anywhere you go.

And such gems aren’t confined to the female market, either. Gents are finally beginning to shrug of the laddish styles that have characterised men’s fashion for over a decade and bring out their inner dandies. It’s so gratifying to know that Laurence Llewelyn Bowen and Jarvis Cocker were right all along!

Now imagine how exciting a time it would be if a more interesting fashion era were to be ushered in not at the behest of the chain stores, but at the almost random finds we made in our ritual roots around the vintage clothing stores. How on earth would future generations repackage that?

Others spend their days at school learning, and some people stay home and take on housework and caring for young children. No matter how you spend your day, it may seem as though your energy is limited. Before you can get started, you burn out quickly, and ultimately spend your day just trying to make it to bed time. Why? Because your body needs to be rejuvenated. Without knowing how, you’ll never be able to make the most of the energy you have, nor will you have any energy to make the most of.

Time is precious. Unfortunately, time with no energy can result in hours of brain fog and blank stares into space, never making any progress or accomplishing what needs to be done. This can soon lead to life of misery and depression. It’s crucial to become revitalized of you want to lead a fulfilling life. The Temple of Rejuvenation by Luanne Oaks, Ph.D will help you to make the most of your time. It will help you to discover who you really are and where you want to be.

Some of the things you may have been led to believe while growing up are most likely holding you back from taking the steps necessary to achieve a fulfilling life. There is a chance that you may never experience the life you were meant to live unless you learn to think outside the box.

The Temple of Rejuvenation by Luanne Oaks, Ph.D gets inside of your mind and encourages healing, starting with your innermost subconscious mind. Before a person can move on in life, they must heal. Most everyone will experience some sort of tragedy in their lives. They can either choose to learn from it and move on, or relive it over and over again. No one wants to be a victim. Common tragedies include divorce, death, accidents, rape, a bad childhood, etc. Just about everyone has to deal with one of these before reaching a ripe old age. Some people are never able to move on. Without the skills to let go and heal, one may never move on from such tragedies.

The Temple of Rejuvenation by Luanne Oaks, Ph.D gives away the information needed for a fresh start and a new approach. It teaches you how to gain a new perspective. Continuously seeing things in the same light only gets you so far. Change is necessary for continual growth. Those who never learn to understand this particular concept aren’t likely to get far in life. The Temple of Rejuvenation by Luanne Oaks, Ph.D opens the door of the mind and allows it to experience change, enlightenment, healing, and revitalization that will leak into every area of life.

2012: End of the World?

Tuesday, March 27th, 2012

There seems to be a lot of theories when it comes to December 21,2012 that strikes fear into the hearts of a lot of people in society. One of these theories is that the end of the world is coming on that particular date by a deluge that engulfs the earth with massive amounts of water until all life has perished on the planet. Another is the earth supposed to catch on fire from our sun and burn all life forms and the last one is the planet nibiru which means”planet of the crossing”comes into our solar system and beings from this planet called ‘anunnaki”come to earth in a spacecraft to save certain people and bring them back to nibiru.Nibiru is what some call the twelfth planet and is ten times the size of earth. It comes within our solar system every 3600 years and suppose to come back around in 2012.

The anunnaki are beings that came to earth millions of years ago to dig within the earths surface for gold because they had a hole in the ozone layer of there atmosphere. What they did with this gold was shoot gold particles into the atmosphere to patch up the hole in there ozone layer.Mining for gold was a very hard task for these beings so the story goes that they took genes from within themselves and some sort of ape type of animal and made man to do hard labor inside of these mines. As man evolved they taught man ancient science and made certain men what they called demi-gods.When they first came to earth they were in what was called Mesopotamia which is now Iraq and later migrated into Africa,India, and other parts of the world and built pyramids and megalithic statues. When nibiru leaves back out of our solar system they leave with it until it comes back around, this is one of the 2012 predictions.

I doubt that this is what is going to take place, but what i do know is going to happen from extensive research is what some call the” processional equinox” this is what the Mayan calendar is all about.December 21,2012 is when the center of the milky way,the dog star Sirius, the central sun of the Pleides star system Alcyone, and our sun all line up with one another. This alignment will bring about a force or energy to our planet. This force or energy is what some call the photon belt and when earth enters into the photon belt drastic changes will occur. One thing that will take place with earth is a pole shift that will gradually bring land up from water and you will see water on some places where you see land now.

The end of the world is not coming just the end of one age which is Pisces and beginning of a new age which is Aquarius. This is the spiritual age where we will be able to attain Christ consciousness. Those of us who are now on the spiritual path will become more enlightened and those who are wicked and destructive minded will become more wicked and destructive minded.2012 will be a very important time for humanity because we will be able to connect back to the universal mind from which we were once disconnected.Humanity will start seeing itself as one as a whole instead of individually. It is very important now to get into meditation and learn how to master or lower self so we can connect with our higher self. Then and only then shall the meek inherit the earth. The end of the world is not 2012,but a beginning of a new world whose purpose is to uplift fallen humanity.Humanity is in a state of complete darkness. So,don’t get shook up about 2012 just work on yourself now so we all can work together later.

Aliens From Zeta Reticuli or Something Fowl From the Farm – The UFO Enigma Solved

Tuesday, March 27th, 2012

For hundreds, or thousands of years there have been sightings and reports of UFO’s from almost every corner of the planet. Of course a lot of these sightings and reports could just be stories or even myths handed down from generation to generation, but with so many cases maybe there is a great deal of truth to the reports. In fact if the ancient caveman was the only ones to have recorded incidents of UFO encounters, we may easily pass off the reports as myths. Every year there are more reports of UFOs then the previous years, in fact in the year 2010 there were more reports of UFO’s then previous years, and 2011 looks to be the same. Not only are there thousands of reports made by normal citizens, but many of the reports come in from what is regarded as people who have a generally high IQ and or higher position in society, such as military personnel, commercial pilots, government personnel, doctors and others.

Clearly something is going on, and I believe I have stumbled upon a mystery most fowl indeed. Growing up on a large dairy farm I was exposed to seeing numerous cattle, pigs, chickens and roosters. One summer my brother and I were constantly terrorized by a rooster, a Rhode Island Red, named Bubby. Bubby was a menace, in fact he was a real bully, whenever my brother and I ventured outside, he would attack us. Bubby, could be 100 feet away, and if he spotted one or both of us he would suddenly, run, flap his wings and head towards whichever one of us was the closest to him. Bubby would attack with flapping wings, pecking his sharp beat, and poking us in the shins with his sharp spurs.

My brother and I would run, screaming into the house, bleeding profusely from our wounds, while Bubby, would casually walk back towards the barn with his head held high in victory. Bubby, the rooster, ruined many summer vacations for my brother and I, due to the fact that we had to spend almost all of our time away from School, being a prisoner inside the house. One day a neighbor friend of my Brothers, a boy named Berak, came down to visit us, he came inside and said; “You guys are not going to believe this but I just saw a UFO flying over your house!” Berak, said the UFO was large, and it was shaped like a disk or saucer. Berak, talked so much about the UFO, that despite being terrorized by Bubby, the rooster, my brother and I decided to go outside to see if we could spot the UFO ourselves.

The three of us had been outside for roughly 10 minutes when our friend Berak, shouted “There it is!”, we looked up in the direction Berak, was looking, and we both saw a large UFO just as Berak, had described earlier. We stood there for a few seconds and watched as the large UFO hovered over the barn, then it started heading in our direction, strangely the closer it got, the smaller it became in size, like it had some advanced technology to morph or change it’s shape. Suddenly the UFO, changed completely into a shape my brother and I had seen many times, it was Bubby, the rooster. Strangely all of the times Bubby, had attacked us, he did so by running, and flapping his wings, now he had discovered the ability to fly. We all ran into the house screaming, and we told our Dad about the UFO that had changed into a rooster.

Dad, laughed and said; “Heck I have seen that many times on the farm, a Rhode Island Red Rooster has a special chemical in their feathers that makes them look distorted in daylight when they fly, in fact the brighter the sun is shining, the more they distort, they even do it during the night time when they fly, giving off a sort of Rooster Bio-Luminousness or ‘RBL’ as scientists call it”. Amazingly a small normal Rhode Island Red Rooster can appear to be a large saucer shaped UFO when flying. It sounded unbelievable but we had seen it with our very eyes.

Over the next year I decided to do some experiments, so I saved my money that I earned by selling issues of ‘Red Herring magazine’, and I purchased a Barred Rock species of Rooster. The Barred Rock is colored black or (dark brown) and white, I got a very healthy one that could fly high, and let it loose. The Barred Rock Rooster took off and flew a short but high journey into the air, as the sun light shined off it, it quickly took the shape of a large cigar or cylinder shaped UFO, again as with the Rhode Island Red flew, its appearance changed back into that of a rooster as it neared the ground. Next I purchased a white species of Rooster, called a White Leghorn, and repeated the experiment, not only did the rooster’s appearance change once it flew into the sunlight, but it appeared to change into a large, silent, black triangle craft, and when flying at night it appeared to have lights underneath it.

I believe I had stumbled upon solving one of the greatest mysteries of mankind, the UFO enigma. I know that many folks that read this article will find the evidence hard to believe, but I have the test notes and the proof to back it up. This also explains why after thousands and thousands of UFO’s reports, there is no concrete proof of one, even as they land, but if you observe one some bright sunlit day or during a starry night, look closely as it nears the ground, and you may discover that in reality it is a rooster that has escaped from some farmers coop.

Kava Kava

Monday, March 26th, 2012

Kava, also known as Kava Kava, is found primarily in the South Pacific. Historically, this plant has been used by many Polynesian cultures. The tea of the Kava plant is known to provide a calming effect while maintaining mental clarity. Originally a drink that was consumed only by the royalty on the islands, Kava was first introduced to the western world by Captain Cook during his exploration of the South Pacific in the eighteenth century.

The Kava plant is associated with the pepper family. It has been found that the active properties causing the calming effects of Kava tea come from kavalactones which can be found in the roots of the plants. These properties remain in Kava tea once the roots of the plant are dried, ground into a powder, and consumed in the form of a beverage.

This drink has a bitter or sour taste, which is actually what the word ‘Kava’ means in several Polynesian islands’ languages. In fact, in these locales the word ‘Kava’ may be used to describe the taste in general, not just that of the plant.

Kava has traditionally been used used to fight fatigue or rid a person of depression while keeping the mind alert. Kava can be found today at health food stores as a tea to be brewed for a variety of illnesses, such as asthma, urinary tract infections, weight loss, depression, anxiety, and insomnia. While today this drink is used widely for medicinal purposes, originally its consumption was frequently tied to ceremonies. Kava had a social, political, and spiritual significance to islanders and was used ceremonially in Tongan, Samoan, Fijian, and Hawaiian cultures as well as many other smaller Polynesia cultures.

When served to royalties and during ceremonies, those participating drank in the order of their political importance. The drink was also served to welcome guests, celebrate a coming of age, or during the ceremonies related to naming a child or communicating with the supernatural. In these uses, this drink has been compared to the use of peyote or the smoking of the “peace pipe” by Native Americans, the chewing of coca leaves by Native Columbians and Peruvians, or the smoking of Opium in China and other parts of Asia.

In addition, this tea was consumed in much the way that alcoholic drinks are consumed in many modern cultures. In fact, colonists and missionaries visiting Polynesia in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries treated Kava much the same way they treated alcohol. Its consumption was strongly discouraged, although the Polynesians continued to drink both Kava and alcoholic beverages.

Although the use of Kava was once strongly discouraged, Islanders have begun returning to their roots, and Kava tea is again becoming an important part of life on many Polynesian islands. The drink is also growing in popularity on the mainland. Many island nations have turned this traditional brew into a modern industry. Each type of Kava is distinct due to the weather, geography and soil type found on a particular island.

History of Labor Day and How it is Celebrated

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

There are many holidays in commemoration of different events and they are celebrated at specific dates throughout the year. When a holiday is declared, you would rely on the stun gun effects for your safety since a lot of people would be swarming the streets and the different vacation destinations. But not only that, it is very important that before any celebration, you have to understand why such day is commemorated.

Labor Day is celebrated in America on the month of September on its first Monday. As what the Department of Labor has mentioned it is a moment “dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers.” Aside from that it is a celebration of the “strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.” It is a day for the workforce in the country which has made a great impact on the progress of the country.

You can owe this holiday to two honorable individuals, Peter J. McGuire and Matthew Maguire. The former was the co-founder of the American Federation of Labor and was identified as the general secretary of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers. He proposed to recognize a special day to commemorate the efforts of the laborers. The latter on the other hand who was the secretary of the International Association of Machinists suggested the holiday in the Central Labor Union in New York. This celebration started as a community holiday but then it spread along other states until it was recognized nationwide.

There are different instances on how this day is commemorated. But usually, it starts with a picnic and ends with a fireworks display. If you want to join the celebration in your local community and bring your family along, try to learn about the schedule of the parade. You can dress up wearing silly hats on your head. When going with the crowd, remember to bring your streetwise stun baton for more safety. During such event, you can listen to speeches of prominent people in your community.

After going to the parade, you can head on to the beach or the park. You can have barbecues for your meal. Grilled food is what most people cook during the Labor Day. Match it with fresh fruits like watermelon so that your kids will be able to enjoy the food that you prepared. Eat the food together with the people close to you like your family and friends.

Lastly, when the sun starts to set, head on to the place where the fireworks display will be held. Make sure that you brought your camera with you so that you will be able to appreciate even more the various presentations. If you wish to bring your little kids, makes sure that you will be able to hold on to them once in a while so that they will not get lost in a very large crowd.

This is the short overview of how Labor Day began. It is a special day for all the workers in America who have contributed to its social and economic progress. There are a lot of things that you can do on this day and it is best spent when with people close to you to whom you dedicate all your hard work and labor.

Humble Origins of Famous Celebrations

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

You might be one of those questioning why celebrations all throughout the year are necessary. From simple anniversaries, birthdays, and to national holidays, you might be wondering why people are so inclined in making a fuss over some designated date or day. The origins of some of the most famous celebrations are easier to understand with these short discussions below.

Birthdays are one of the most privileged days of one individual. At this day, you can do what you want (well, almost) and have all the attention to yourself without question. Usually connected to the natal or birth date of a person and has religious connotations. Although, many religions celebrate birthdays in different ways but some do oppose the festivity. Origins of birthdays was claimed to hail from European traditions. In the old age, persons who are celebrating their birth day are appealing to evil spirits and the visit from friends and family can prevent unwanted misfortune or accidents suffered by the celebrant.

Anniversaries are celebrations of commemoration for any formal, personal, historical, or social milestones for most people. Wedding, death, independence, and many other reasons for annual remembrance vary from country to country depending on the culture or national traditions. The origins are almost native and local in history.

Christmas Day has been celebrated for hundreds of years without being mandatory in some places. Although it is Christian in origin, the season of giving and sharing has been slowly adopted by other religion all over the world as a period of love and peace. Even in the strictest places of other religious majority like Islam, have their own Christmas Day to celebrate.

New Year’s day has been celebrated in different calendar dates depending on the cultural preference of the people. Most of the world has been using the Julian calendar in January 1st of every incoming new year. Although many other religions have different dates of celebrations, they have their own new year’s day version in festivals or events.

Valentine’s day has been regarded as a universal day for love themes. The origins of this day spawned from the Roman social tradition of pairing up young eligible couples in a social event. The ladies are placed in a box with drawn numbers corresponding to your gents in the area. They are considered paired or coupled for the festival of a Roman goddess and for the whole year. This tradition generally encourages life reproduction among young adults. In this light, it also explains why Valentine’s day is considered to be rooted on romantic and martial love.

These are just some of the renowned celebrations that any parts of the world know and celebrate about. The assurance that all celebrations have a rich history or origins is comforting to know since it tells about certain periods of the earth calendar and the evolution of cultural traditions. Although life can be full of celebrations and it is only a matter of perspective on how you will be able to observe and believe in the joy they bring.

1990s Men’s Style: Is it “Vintage Clothing” Already?

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

It’s very easy to conjure up images of men’s fashion from the fifties, sixties, seventies and eighties. But the nineties? What was that all about? In a way, it was a time when men’s fashion became rather conservative and slightly masculine. There was no room for flouncy ornamentation or attention-grabbing decadence of the previous decades; the order of the day was utilitarianism, or a sense of smart casual dress that would eventually pervade the office environment and threaten the very existence of the formal shirt and tie.

Fashion-wise, the decade started, as decades do, with the last gasps of the previous one. The Madchester, baggy scene, epitomised by the Happy Mondays, Stone Roses and the Charlatans, was still alive in the UK but by 1990 it was two years old, so had had a pretty good innings by the standards of any modern popular movement. Flared trousers, paisley shirts, pony tails and tie-dye could still be worn without too much embarrassment around the turn of the 1990s, but men’s style would soon start to edge this look to the fringes. If the previous few years had seen a backlash against designer labels, the following years would see them return with a vengeance, although they themselves had noticeably toned themselves down to become more attractive, rather than the public suddenly regaining a taste for 80s extravagance.

Again, the best way to have one’s memory jogged about a fashion era (even if you are too young to remember it) is to look at the music icons of the day. In the 1990s the stand-out UK acts were almost certainly Oasis and Blur. Both were exponents of particular fashion styles. In the “Blur” corner the look was classic Indie – a pair of jeans or combats, a skinny tee shirt and some trainers or chunky shoes. Over in the “Oasis” corner the look was probably a bit smarter, influenced as it was by the Beatles and the Mod scene, but employed the buttoned shirt – never tucked in, of course – and the denim jacket to give the look a working-class feel.

The untucked shirt was a lot harder to pull off than it would appear. Many shirts are designed to be tucked in and not fall out and so they extend far below the waistline. Fashion naifs would often buy any old shirt, untuck it and end up looking like a dentist or a chef, or just someone who had been in a fight. The ideal length for the untucked shirt is the same as that for a tee – halfway between the waist and the crotch – and therefore they had to be designed for that purpose.

What the two branches had in common was that they could both be worn formally or casually. Throw on a dark jacket and you could transform either look into a passably businesslike getup. This is partly because of the tight lines that followed the male physique and partly because the business world had become a little less formal as the baby boomers were starting to take charge.

Even though we’ve had a whole decade since the end 1990s, its influence remains in men’s fashion. Maybe that’s why genuine vintage clothing from the period has kept its relevance to this day.

What to Do Right During the Christmas Season

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

Across the nation, the most prominent decoration in a home is the Christmas tree, and one of the tree’s most pronounced features are the lights. Some will choose a stately static white over bright blinking colors, but it is truly a matter of personal preference. If a fresh tree is not an option there are many excellent artificial options, some of which are pre-strung with lights. This can be a great advantage for families with young children as well as the elderly.

There are truly a plethora of options when it comes to decorating the tree. Generally, you will get the best results if you choose a theme and adorn the tree accordingly, carrying similar design elements throughout the home. Traditional ornaments made from pewter, brass, wood and glass are always a tasteful addition. Many families take great pride in ornaments hand made by their children. Additionally, making ornaments can make a great holiday tradition and keep the kids occupied! There are still other traditions that use gingerbread men and candy canes to decorate a tree, although they are best used as short-term decoration. It is always a good idea not to overdo it, after all this is the holiday season.

After the tree, you still have the rest of the house. Wreathes on doors and candle lights in the windows can make for a lovely sight. Or maybe you’re more the dancing Santa in the doorway kind of family. No matter what your choice, remember to have fun and enjoy time with your family because that is the real meaning of the holidays.

Garland and ribbons offer a more subdued seasonal decoration when compared to lights and candles. Vintage children’s toys also make an excellent addition, and can be dressed in costume to reflect the theme of the home. Another favorite for children of all ages is the hanging of stockings on the mantle. Traditionally filled with fruit and small baubles by parents on Christmas morning., stockings make a great way to show and appreciate each family member’s individuality, as well as the perfect place to put the batteries for that remote control car!

Naturally, seasonal decorating must include some religious elements; after all, it is a spiritual holiday. A classic nativity scene, star or cross a top the tree, all can be incorporated into the home decor and solidify a seamless holiday theme. These elements seem more tasteful when approached with a less is more attitude. Remember, this is a wonderful time for all people, and not focus on our differences.

Let’s not forget everyone’s favorite holiday decorations, food! Sugar cookies baked in the shape of Christmas trees, gingerbread houses, and bowls full of candy are all great additions to the seasonal decorations of any home. Many families have traditions of children baking cookies or some other treat (often inedible), and are a source of rich traditions as well as many embarrassing stories to be retold at future holiday gatherings. If the children in your family are too young to cook, decorating cookies or cupcakes also makes for a fun, imaginative activity.

There are far too many holiday decorating ideas to cover here, but hopefully you’ve gotten some good ideas, and are on your way to a beautifully decorated home this holiday season. With all the options and excitement surrounding the holiday season, and the fevered pitch decorating can reach, we must be careful not to lose focus of the things that really matter, family, friends, and fun. If you keep these three things in perspective, I am certain you will have a wonderful holiday season!

Are Paper Books & Bookcases Obsolete?

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

Some of you may well remember the fascination of bookshelves in their childhood. Visiting someone’s house with bookshelves packed with books was quite an impressive experience. Being a child it is not important what books are there, but shelving tons of books was considered smart and important. However, no one is really sure where this weird concept originated from. Now you would not come across any such beliefs that bookshelves have become outdated. Literature holders or literature displays still seem to have their worth, but the masses are more into digital libraries.

In the mid-eighties, the idea of digital libraries was gaining popularity. These days E-books are known to be the solution to expensive and heavy paper books. Turning pages of an e-book is just like the real thing. Ecologists argue it is best for our planet as chopping down of trees can be minimized in this way whereas, there are still many who support the notion of paperbound books.

The idea of storing books in an e-book reader is delightful but one wonders whether you can permanently preserve the library in this format. So far, it does not seem to take much convincing to go for this switch. First of all, the question is how many people out there own a kindle or any e-book reader. And how many still are interested in developing their own digital libraries. Actually quite a few because many prefer paper books which are stored on their book shelves.

Here is why:

There is nothing like sitting on a sofa between your young kids with a picture book opened in your lap. It was a fun-filled reading experience which is not quite possible with a kindle. The same kind of art is unimaginable with an E-book reader.

Still the important part of the query is whether you would like to keep a library in the electronic format? Many people will agree that this does not seem to be a good idea. A kindle can be a good reading option for some mystery books but only once or twice. Maintaining a digital library seems out of the question here. More than the technical reasons, it all goes down to personal preferences just like a child can have his own choice to pick up as book.

Speaking of kids, they love to choose books by their covers. Often book covers so intrigues a child that he or she picks it up to examine or even buy it but it is not only kids who have this psyche. If you have some inviting books on your bookcase or coffee table, they are just waiting to be picked up.

The acceptance of E-book readers does not prove that the paperbound books are going to be extinct. True the idea of bookcases and big libraries is getting obsolete but this does not mean that they will be gone forever. There is virtually no replacement to paperbound books. Even today, some people like to brag about their libraries and do not like the idea of giving them up for digital libraries.

According to some readers, E-books can be supplements to their book collections but not complete replacements, whereas some readers are happy to give up their bookshelves for digital libraries.
