Traveling the world used to be something that really wealthy people did for six months of the year and that students did for a gap year before they entered the harsh world of corporate business but now with the development of the inter web more and more of us are realizing that not only is the world a lot smaller than we thought but it is a lot more accessible and affordable than we ever managed. So now if we plan our two week vacation correctly we can be brushing shoulders with the well to do and the students of the world as we too try our hand at seeing the world. But going from a standard two week beach and hotel vacation to seeing the world under your own steam is a gulf of difference, what should you prepare yourself for and what can you do to make sure that the memories will be all good and last a lifetime?
